- Clitheroe 2 Skelmersdale United 2 (Evo-Stik League) Att 332
Tom Williams replaced injured Danny Williams in midfield in the only change from the previous match.

Clitheroe conceded a very late goal and with it missed the chance to go top of the table. An even first half was brought to life just before half time when Skem took the lead in the 43rd minute and the Blues equalised in the 45th minute after Tom Williams had turned his marker and was brought down inside the penalty area. The visiting keeper moved off his line to save the resultant spotkick but Mark Jackson made no mistake with his retaken penalty. Clitheroe took the lead in the 65th minute when Mark Jackson was first to Jonathan Forbes' long throw in and he headed past the keeper from 6 yards. Skem piled on the pressure in the closing stages and got their reward with a 90th minute leveller as they threw all men forward for a corner.

Clitheroe scored a last minute winner to take all 3 points after seeing a 2 goal advantage pulled back. The Blues took the lead in the 18th minute when Ash Parillon curled in a low shot from the edge of the penalty box with the outside of his boot. The second goal came after 59 minutes when a long free kick from keeper Ben Proctor sailed over everyone for Alex Brees to run onto and slot past the Salford keeper. The home side then had a good spell on top and pulled a goal back in the 69th minute before scoring the equaliser in the 86th minute. Both teams then had chances in the closing minutes to steal the points and it was Clitheroe who scored the winner in the 90th minute when a superb pass from Mark Jackson found Ollie Devenney's run into the box and he threaded the ball past the keeper into the empty net from 15 yards.

Clitheroe bowed out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle with this disappointing defeat. The Blues took a 25th minute lead through Mark Jackson and kept the slender advantage at the halftime break. Clitheroe equalised with a goal from Danny Williams in the 57th minute but Bacup regained the lead in the 60th minute. The second goal came after 72 minutes when Mark Jackson turned and slotted home from inside the 6 yard box and in the 75th minute Danny Williams met Alex Brees' cross with a back post header to make it 3-0.
