Cowking reassembles champions

1 year ago By Michael Barker

Former team to be at the Bamber Bridge game on Saturday

In an uncanny stroke of coincidence, in the same week that Roy and Peter have issued statistics covering the last quarter of a century for the club, one of the finest teams of the period will be gathering to reminisce of times gone by at Saturday’s game against Bamber Bridge.

To add an extra dimension, one of the key members of the team will be managing the opposition – good luck with that one Reno.

Precise attendees are still fluid, but if you have some burning questions for the team like (i) is Whitty really an accountant? (ii) is Cowks really as daft as brush? (iii) did Jason Jones’s goal really go in off his shin at Chippenham (iv) why did Reno turn left when everyone else turned right after his title winning goal?

Make sure you turn up on Saturday and buy them a pint for the inside story.

It will be great to have them back at the home of football!
