It is straight back to league action for the Blues as we travel to Mossley in an attempt to revive our league form.

By Jack Towers

Wednesday saw Clitheroe take away a fantastic win in the semi-final of the Lancashire Challenge Trophy beating Charnock Richard on penalties but it is back to business in the league to keep the playoff dreams alive.

Simon Haworth has a full strength team to choose from and despite Wednesday's win the Blues boss feels there still needs to be an emphasis on taking their chances.

"We've been renowned since I took charge for playing attacking, exciting football and scoring lots of goals and hopefully they will build some confidence and we can be an attacking threat."

A win for the Blues would see them still very much in contention for a top six spot but face a Mossley side who are strong at home.

The Manchester side have won just once on their travels this season but have lost just twice at their home of Seel Park.

After a fantastic week for the club we hope to see as many of you down there as we can!
