Andy Breckell to leave the club at the end of the season

Matchday Secretary, Andy Breckell, has indicated that at the end of the season he will hang up his teamsheet pad and relinquish his role as club director.

After 40 years involved in the game, Andy felt it was the right time to spend more time with his grandchildren and to lead his bowls team to glory!

Chair Anne Barker said “I have known Andy for 20 years and he goes with our very best wishes. His knowledge of the game and meticulous attention to detail have been real assets to the club."

His departure provides an opportunity for someone to work alongside our secretary, Chris Musson, whether that be someone looking to make a career in the game or simply someone looking to get involved with Clitheroe FC in a more hands on way. More info about the vacancy will be released soon.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Andy for his service and wishes him all the best for the future.
