New boss makes first signing

Clitheroe Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Charlie Russell who rejoins the club from Lancaster City.

Charlie previously played under newly appointed manager Phil Brown during his time at Lancaster and commented on their relationship by saying 'I just think we work well...everything I want from a football manager, he meets that.'

When asked about the move, Charlie said 'I didn't have any other club in my head. As soon I knew Phil had got the job, I wanted to come straight away and I am excited to get going!'
