The Blues face the short hop to Preston tomorrow

By Jack Towers

Clitheroe are back in action Saturday as the Blues make the short journey to Bamber Bridge at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.

It has not been a great run as of late without a win in three, losing our last two, and Clitheroe now face a Bamber Bridge side who are unbeaten in their last nine games and sit fourth in the table losing just once at home.

Blues welcome new signing Jack Egan into the squad who joins from Carlisle United on a one-month loan deal, a player who Simon Haworth believes can "bring some pace back to the side".

Ross Dent completes his last game suspended, but there are no knew injury concerns for Haworth to deal with and can welcome back Dimitri Tuanzebe back from illness.

Haworth believes Clitheroe have "got away with it" in recent weeks to stay in the top six and need to bounce back and prove why they deserve to be there.
