Two new faces join the Blues

Stuart Mellish has brought in two new players to Shawbridge today.

The first is experienced centre back Richard Mercer who joins us from Lancaster City. The 34 year old has also played at Kendal Town, Fleetwood Town, Northwich Victoria and AFC Fylde.

Mercer's experience and commitment means he's also been given the captain's armband for the season and will be leading the Blues out in future games.

We have also signed midfielder Ryan Steele. The 22 year old joins us from Winsford United.
