At the age of 27, Jimmy Heywood has played in the Evo-Stik divisions for the last seven years.Having played for Clitheroe during the 2010-11 campaign, Heywood left Shawbridge to sign for AFC Fylde and the season later he gained promotion with the Coasters.
Work commitments prevented the expansive right-back from playing during the 2013-14 campaign but Blues fans can expect to see attacking play and box-to-box running from the Blues new signing in the months to come.
