Ground Facilities

Clitheroe FC is very proud of both its facilities and the warm welcome it offers fans. It was particularly pleased to be awarded the best away fan experience award in all of Level 4 by a national fans’ group.

Clitheroe’s ground is entered off Pendle Road via a short cobbled street which opens out on to one of two players’ car parks. The ground itself has a capacity of 2,500, with cover on all four sides, including covered standing for 1,000 and a main stand with 260 bucket seats. There is no additional charge to sit in the stand.

In terms of orientation, once through the turnstiles, you are behind one of the goals. The main bar is immediately on the right. The bar can be accessed from a door on the side immediately as you enter through the turnstiles on the right or it can also be accessed by a ramp in the side facing the pitch. This offers full Sky TV from three screens and incorporates a beer garden near the corner flag. Also immediately on the right as you enter is the club shop, which sells a full range of products from replica tops to mugs.

As you continue round the ground, the long side, known as the “Top Side” is where the home fans tend to stand. Just beyond the covered area is a small bar outlet. Behind the far goal, there is further covered terracing and as one moves back down the long side, towards the main entrance, you walk past the hospitality room for visiting officials, the main stand and then the dressing rooms, which are on the half way line.

The Ladies toilets are situated within this building, with access from the main stand side. Beyond these are two converted shipping containers which house a large fully equipped bar in one and the club’s diner in the other. On top of these containers, a small staircase leads to the media gantry. The Gents toilet block is next before finally, on the long side there is the well appointed club’s sponsors’ lounge, where match day packages can be enjoyed.

Finally, as one rounds the corner flag, there is the final element of covered terracing, complete with crush barriers, which replaced our oldest cover which blew down in 2019 in a fierce storm. You are now back at the turnstiles.

If you are unsure where anything is please ask anyone at or near the turnstiles for information.
