There’s a new look to the Blues’ 2018/19 campaign following a shake-up of the BetVictor League.
Clitheroe’s inclusion in the North West division means some new opposition and new venues to visit.
The Blues’ furthest journey will take them to the North East and the banks of the Tyne to face former Northern League side Dunston.
And there’s also a trip east into North Yorkshire to face former Northern Counties East League outfit Pickering Town at Mill Lane.
It all starts in the league on Saturday, 17 August with a visit from Brighouse Town – a week earlier the Blues kick-off at home to 1874 Northwich in the extra premlinary round of the FA Cup on the 10th August. Just a reminder that Season Ticket holders will have to pay entry for this weekend's game, however will receive a complimentary voucher that can be spent in either the bar or the grub tub!
Phil Brown’s men complete their preparations tomorrow (Saturday, 3 August) when Bamber Bridge visit Shawbridge (KO 3pm).
And don’t forget season-ticket holders get in free.
