Both legs of the Blues’ double-header against Marine next week have been postponed.
Clitheroe were due to meet the Merseyside club in the Integro League Cup on Tuesday, 17 September and then go to Marine again for a league fixture on Saturday, 21 September.
However, both games have been postponed due to Marine’s involvement in the FA Cup, with the Mariners drawn to face Tyneside outfit and North-West Division rivals Dunston in the second qualifying round on Saturday-week.
The BetVictor League has agreed to allow clubs still involved in the FA Cup to have a free mid-week ahead of their next tie to aid their preparations and chances of going through.
Dates for the re-arranged fixtures will be released in due course.
The Blues will now play City of Liverpool away from home on Saturday, 21 September in a league fixture moved from 9 November.
