Blues move pre-season game to Myerscough

The Blues’ pre-season fixture away to AFC Blackpool this coming Saturday (27 July) has been moved to Myerscough College.

The friendly was due to be switched to AFC Fylde’s training ground while Blackpool’s pitch undergoes remedial work.

But the game will now be played at Myerscough – near Preston – with a 2pm kick-off.

Phil Brown then takes his side to Barnoldswick Town on Tuesday, 30 July (7.45pm) before facing Bamber Bridge at Shawbridge on Saturday, 3 August (3pm) to complete the pre-season schedule.

The Blues - who won 1-0 at Charnock Richard last Satuerday thanks to a superb late strike from Hugo Tanner - kick-off their campaign at home to 1874 Northwich in the extra-preliminary round of the FA Cup on Saturday, 10 August.
