Gaul is Player of the Month

Connor Gaul is the Blues’ Player of the Month for October.

The in-form frontman topped a supporters’ vote on social media to win the award for the first time.

Gaul, who joined Clitheroe from Atherton Collieries in the summer, has enjoyed an outstanding start to the campaign to help Phil Brown’s men climb into the top two of the BetVictor North-West Division.

The former Colne man, 23, is the Blues’ leading scorer with seven goals so far and will be looking to help Clitheroe chalk up a fifth successive win at home to Droylsden on Saturday.
