Andy Procter replaces Steve Entwistle as U18s' boss

The Blues are delighted to confirm the appointment of Andy Procter as the club’s new Under-18s coach.

Procter replaces Steve Entwistle, who stood down after playing a major role in helping the Blues re-establish their youth set-up and led the side for the last time in their FA Youth Cup tie last month.

Procter, who got off to a winning start with a 4-2 victory over Ladybridge in the Lancashire Sunday League, has extensive coaching experience in youth and women’s football.

After working with the women’s teams at Burnley, Huddersfield Town and Bury, UEFA Licence qualified Procter joined Manchester City’s community department in 2017 and successfully coached in conjunction with Connell College as part of the partnership’s successful BTEC programme, winning several titles at ages 16-19.

Clitheroe FC welcomes Andy to Shawbridge and thanks Steve for his contribution.
