Sharples In the Chair

Lee Sharples has been confirmed as the new chairman of Clitheroe FC.

Sharples has been filling the role in an interim period since the long-serving Anne Barker stood down last season.

His position was verified at the Blues’ AGM, while Barker retains her place on the board and will continue as a representative at Evo-Stik League level.

A well-supported meeting also heard from recently appointed manager Phil Brown, who outlined his plans for the new campaign.

And a minute’s silence was held for loyal supporters Brian Sims and Geoff Arnold, who recently passed away.
