Cup fixtures announced

The FA have today released the fixtures for the first rounds of the domestic cups.

Clitheroe will welcome either Newcastle-based West Allotment Celtic or County Durham-based Consett to Shawbridge on Saturday 20th August for the FA Cup Preliminary Round.

We also be at home for our FA Trophy tie in which Stocksbridge Park Steels will be our opponents in a repeat fixture from last season, in which we lost 2-1. This will be played on Saturday 8th October.

The Clitheroe youth team are away to Prescot Cables in the FA Youth Cup on the week commencing 8th September, with the winner facing a home tie against Chorley.
