In line with all football clubs across the country, Clitheroe FC will be holding a minute’s silence on Saturday to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War and to remember the sacrifice made by our armed forces in defending our liberty.

As a small gesture of thanks, we will be allowing free entry to all armed forces personnel, past and present, to Saturday's match at Shawbridge against Skelmersdale United.

Proof of identity will be requested and might take a number of forms. Veterans might have a badge, recently retired will have an MOD 90 with the corner cut off, whilst serving people will have an ID card.
