Clitheroe lost by the solitary goal at just after half time.

The first half was an even affair with both side not able to create a solid clear cut chance. Our best chance of the first half came on 36 minutes when Alex Newby threaded a pass to Stavros Tserpes but was narrowly beaten by the keeper.

Scarborough got their only goal in the 47 minute from a set piece corner. Clitheroe stepped up their game in the second half and were worthy on an equaliser. Great pressure from the blues but no clear cut chances.
