There are quite a few favourite moments, after last season I really enjoy every win!! Beating Colne on new years day was really special for the whole team, we had to defend really well and dig out the win, you could see what it meant to the boys and the fans at full time. The win away at Pickering Town was a really important win for us, we didn't start the game well and found ourselves 2-0 down but we never gave up and ended up winning 3-2, again it showed really good character of the team. Home wins against Workington and Ramsbottom were really pleasing because they are both really strong teams who were both favourites to be in the playoffs this year. Most recently beating Runcorn Linnets away was a great result for us, it was really important because we had gone a few games without a win, the boys really stuck together in that game and really deserved the win on the night.

Favourite ground in the league?

I have always really enjoyed away games at Trafford, the people there are always very welcoming and the pitch is always top drawer, fortunately we won there this season too so that helps. I like going to Droylsden too, it is a really nice set up and I have been fortunate to have some really good results there over the years.

Favourite moment in football?

When I was at Warrington Town, we reached the FA cup 1st round. Our match was televised on BBC2 on a Friday night and we had 2,400 people watching the ground. We managed to win the game 1-0, there was a massive pitch invasion after the game and huge celebrations for the full weekend!

Ambitions for next season?

I cant wait to get the new season started, it has been such a strange few weeks for everyone, but for the league just to be cancelled and all the results expunged is extremely strange. I would like us to kick on again from the foundations we have laid this year, I would like us to have good runs in the FA and County cups and be challenging for the playoff places again.

Who do you support?

I support Manchester United, Warrington Town and obviously Clitheroe!!

Favourite player?

When I was young my favourite players were Paul Scholes, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and David Beckham. I love watching goal scorers like Van Nistelrooy, Chicharito, Ronaldo, Inzaghi. I also love creative midfielders who can spot passes that nobody else can see like Cantona, Zidane, Iniesta etc. My favourite player in the world right now is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Best player you’ve played with?

I didn't play on the same pitch as him but I did get substituted into a charity game in place of Paul Merson!! I scored with my first touch too!!

If you could have 5 people round for a dinner party who would you invite?

Eric Cantona, George Best, Robert Di Nero, Chris Rock, Gino D'Acampo (he can cook the food!)
