We are delighted to announce the signing of Guiseley goalkeeper Danny Taberner. Danny (30) joins up with his Clitheroe squad ahead of tomorrows fixture against Widnes FC. The move comes following Hakan Burton's shoulder injury which he picked up against Nantwich Town in the last game. Following a scan, it is suspected to be quite serious, which could mean a spell on the sidelines.

New signing Danny Taberner joins us with a wealth of experience, having had an incredible season last season with Runcorn Linnets, winning Manager's Play of the Year, Young Supporter's Player of the year & Supporters Player of the Year. As well as these club accolades, Taberner also won the Golden Glove award for the division, keeping the most clean sheets in the NPL last season. The shot stopper helped Runcorn Linnets reach the Play Off Final last season, which was a fantastic achievement for both club & player.
