"I see a project, I see a very good football club, one that can escalate and get out of this league and see where that takes us."

Jimmy Bell commits his future to the Blues, following a successful 3 games in charge at the end of the 23/24 season as interim manager. We sat down with Jimmy and discussed the future of his career & Clitheroe Football Club.

"I'm very excited, it's a great challenge for me, and I think it has come at the right stage of my life. My world & Clitheroe's world has just collided at the right time and I believe everything happens for a reason."

"I haven't just come here for the ride, I'm extremely ambitious and I want Clitheroe to do really well, hopefully we can achieve something together"

"I have seen a board of directors, a chairman and Carl Garner all wanting the same thing, which is to help Clitheroe push on and be a better football club. I have seen a commitment from players, who have responded to what I wanted them to do, they have given me everything on the pitch. I have also seen a high standard of football in the league, which also attracted me."

"I am coming here to win the league next season, it will be a journey, I just urge the board, the fans & the whole football club to get behind me. Unite everyone and all push in the same direction and I'm sure we can achieve that."

"I see a project, I see a very good football club, one that can escalate and get out of this league and see where that takes us. We'll take every game & every season as it comes. The crowds hopefully will get bigger and bigger and we can see where that takes us."

"There is a great nucleus of players here, hopefully I will added even more quality to that. I aim to implement a winning style of football. Hopefully we'll in still a winning mentality and goes across the club."

"The club want to get out of this league, and that was one of the things that attracted me. I'm not going to come here to be a bit part player, I want this club to get a promotion"

"Hopefully it's exciting times to come, the fans have had a little taster within those 3 games of what we can achieve as a club, as a team. Come down and support the club, it's a fantastic club that we want to make bigger & bigger, and I want every fan to feel part of what we are, because it's the fan's club, they'll be here forever."

"I've got a few irons in the fire regarding backroom staff, hopefully over the next week or two I'll let you know accordingly who that will be. Paul Howarth has been fantastic, so he'll be part of that and Carl Garner who is going to help me out and I will look to bring in a couple more, possibly a player coach."
