For what is sure to be a stern test for Simon Haworth's side, Clitheroe are in need of a result to get back to winning ways and ensure their seriousness in making the top six this season.
The Blues have a fully fit squad to choose from with just midfielder Ross Dent still to complete his last game of suspension and new signing Jack Egan is expected to come in and make his debut after signing from Carlisle United last week.
Haworth believes his side owe the fans "a good performance" but recognises the strong test that South Shields will provide.
"We owe a good performance after recent results but we know they're (South Shields) a good side they're top of the league and top of the league for a reason".
Shrewsbury Town midfielder, George Hughes, has also extended his stay at the club for a further month making him available for selection.
Clitheroe have got away with recent results and have kept their place in the top six but there is no doubting a significant win is needed to send a statement.
Simon Haworth has reiterated all season that more results against the top teams in this league are crucial to be taken seriously and tomorrow is the place to start.
