Clitheroe Football Club can confirm that Kyle Hall has stepped down from his role as joint first team manager following an exploratory discussion instigated by the Board around concerns over the nature of the joint manager model. He was joined in resigning by fitness coach Lee Hill and by head scout, Dave Turner. Subsequently, a panel of Board members met separately with both Kyle and Billy Priestley, and the panel confirmed unanimously that Billy Priestley would be given the role of sole manager of the first team.

The club would like to thank Kyle, Lee and Dave for the energy and professionalism they have brought to their various roles, and to wish them well in their future endeavours.

Billy is now seeking to appoint an experienced assistant who can help him on the coaching side of the house and he has already had exploratory discussions. The Board reiterates that the pre-season goal of securing a place in the play offs is its number one priority given the investments which have been made on and off the pitch, and will support Billy in whatever way it can to achieve this goal.
