After a recent correctly motioned approach by a fellow NPL club, Sean Mc after meeting with that club and subsequently sitting down with our chairman Danny Wilkins and Director of football Carl Garner has committed himself to Clitheroe FC for the foreseeable future on revised terms .
The club have recognised the work Sean has done since the end of last season and the amazing and historical cup exploits that he lead us to within last season, his first full season in management .

It was felt that what we are building together here is very much on the right lines to bring the clubs future and continued growth and excite our loyal core of supporters in the process.
A fresh new culture is very apparent inside the football camp and we have made a good solid start to the new season and the club intend to continue to support Sean to the best of our means to maintain a serious challenge at the right end of the league table.
No doubt there will be plenty more bumps and scrapes to come for us in a really competitive division but we believe that continued stability and a fantastic mix of really experienced lads from higher levels coupled with the belt of fabulous young players that have been brought into the club, lead by a bright and knowledgable young management team both of whom have fantastic professional playing careers, is the best way forward for our club to continue its growth on the pitch .
